Each May, we are collectively invited to pause and reflect on something deeply sacred – our mental and emotional well-being.
Sacred, yes… because it is what we all long for deep within.
Sacred, too, because achieving true mental and emotional well-being is a blessing – one that serves as a foundation upon which we could build anything in our life!
Thoughts – Emotions
Over time, I have come to realize more and more just how intimately connected our thoughts are to our emotions, and that quite often, my emotions would stem from a thought process. Already as a young child, whenever I would feel my mood go down, I would start chasing back the thoughts that had generated this mood!
Think about that… about how thoughts and emotions go hand in hand, constantly shaping each other. Just think, for instance, about an upcoming vacation, this thought can instantly lift your mood, filling you with excitement or maybe fill you with anxiety! On the flip side, emotions can also trigger unexpected thoughts. Imagine you’re having the best day, feeling so much in love with your partner. Then, out of nowhere, your mind jumps to a “what if” – what if they leave? Suddenly, that happy moment shifts, and feelings of fear or sadness creep in.
So you´re probably thinking like me, as when I was a child… that you could change your emotions by working on your thoughts so that they would empower you rather than push you down. Well, I tried to as a child, and I did succeed sometimes… but not always.
Maybe you have also tried to train your mind and haven’t succeeded either. Or have you?
The Mind
Maybe you also came to the same conclusion as me that the mind is in truth much more than thoughts… that it is not even only emotions and thoughts.. it is more..
Yes, the mind encompasses memories – both old ones, whether ours or inherited, and perhaps others; who knows? It also encompasses something that surpasses our conscious and unconscious minds: something akin to a sort of superconscious mind!
Suffering
This is how, with time, I came to see the human mind as a bridge between a Universal mind and our physical body – a channel where emotions, thoughts, spiritual truths, and human experiences all meet!
I also came to realize that sometimes this bridge feels overwhelmed or blocked, and this is when we suffer.
This is when we feel disconnected from our body, our heart and Life.
And we suffer, sometimes in silence. Sometimes in ways we can’t even explain.
🌿 But healing is always possible. And often, it begins with the simple act of listening within.
Your Mind is Asking for Attention, Not Judgment
So many of us have learned to be hard on ourselves. To push through, to stay quiet, to pretend everything is fine. But what if this month, you made space to truly hear your inner world, without fear or shame?
✨ Whether you’re carrying old grief, battling daily anxiety, or feeling lost and disconnected, I want you to know this: there is nothing wrong with your mind and nothing wrong with you. Your mind is simply trying to protect you, the only way it knows how.
And sometimes, it’s not your mind that needs attention – it’s your energy pathways that need to be cleared, your heart that longs to be soothed, your soul that asks to be heard.
My Approach: Healing Through Energy
During this month, I gently invite you to consider that mental health is energetic health. Through my sessions, like Free My Mind, Soothe My Heart, or Soul Reading. I work with what lies beneath the surface: the stored emotions, forgotten memories, energetic cords, and limiting beliefs that quietly shape your mental landscape.
When we bring in healing, clarity returns. The racing thoughts slow down. The pain finds peace. And we begin to remember our true essence: whole, radiant, calm.
A Personal Reflection
I’ve walked through my own shadows. I’ve known what it means to question literally everything, to feel stuck in my thoughts, to carry silent sorrow. Each time I chose to go deeper, not harder, and each time I said yes to meeting myself with compassion; life responded with healing.
So, this month, I’m not asking you to fight your mind. I’m inviting you to love it gently back to balance.
Start Where You Are
💫 Begin by breathing with presence.
💫 Speak to yourself as you would to someone you love.
💫 Seek support when your energy feels too heavy to move on your own.
